What computer equipment is required for participation?

Technical requirements for joining our online coding community or participating in a live, online Instructor-led programming class are listed below. Our tools run in a standard web browser on any internet connected computer.

Required Equipment, Software, Accounts

• Computer with a modern browser, such as an up-to-date version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Brave, or Internet Explorer
• A reliable Internet connection
• Headphones, or speakers, and a microphone
• An email account

Recommended Equipment, Software, Accounts

• A web camera for additional interaction with Instructor and peers
• Google Gmail or Microsoft email account allows the user to log in once and access services without re-entering authentication. Students only need remember one account password, and then use authentication services of that account via the Codecraft Works app.
