Intro to Computer Science & Software Engineering - This course offers the perfect intro to programming, computer science (CS), and engineering concepts aimed at elementary and middle school kids with next-to-zero experience. This course uses a visual drag & drop platforms that requires no prior knowledge of computer languages and includes “unplugged” actives to differentiate learning and underscore CS principles & problem solving. Students enjoy game making, storytelling, and invention will love to learn how to make and talk about the technology they use in new ways.
This course is perfect for students 8+, beginners and intermediate students. Taking this course allows students to learn, apply and practice what has been learned and can be continued until student projects demonstrate they are ready for additional rigor. Having fun here is part of learning!
This course is perfect for Coders 11+ and will introduce participants to the language of object oriented programming. Building vocabulary and a solid understanding of the concepts behind OOP though application of the concepts in the game development course.
Python is a powerful language used by sites like YouTube and Dropbox. In this lab, we teach Python programming and challenge those with some Python experience to explore more intermediate topics. Students will expand their abilities and creativity using the PyGame library to make games with graphics, animation, and sound.

This course is for students 12+ and in addition to building technical skill, will increase business savvy. Students will be invited to participate in the community around them during 2nd semester projects working with local charities and entrepreneurs onwebsites with a multi-purpose.
Each week we’ll work through projects using 3D modeling & printers, making interactive board games, designing wearable electronics, and powering up LEDs exploring the Internet of Things and maker space projects.
